TRAINING

I am a trained and licensed psychologist, certified by the Israeli health ministry. I have an M.A in clinical psychology (TAU) and a B.A in psychology and cognitive sciences, with specialty in Philosophy of the mind (BGU), both graduated with honors. Throughout my studies I have been trained in several types of individual psychotherapy, in psychological assessment and diagnosis and in systemic intervention and parent consultation, and have worked with several ages and degrees of psychopathology. I am a native speaker of both English and Hebrew.

I have completed internship phases in the following institutions:

- A mental health hospital department, working with severe mental disorders

-  A university student consultation service, working with young adults

- The Ministry of Education, working with adolescents in boarding schools, suffering from complex childhood trauma as well as adjustment and adaptation disorders following immigration.

​- A psychological-educational municipal service, working with kindergarten children, their parents and their educators, on a wide range of cognitive, emotional, and social difficulties.

I have also been trained for systemic intervention in schools and in parent consultation in the scholarly context.

I have undergone complementary studies in the following:

- Child and adolescent psychoanalytic theory and diagnosis

- Child and adolescent pycho-pathology

- Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT)

- Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

- Non-Violent Communication

- Systemic interventions.

I currently work in a private practice, and combine this with continued training and studies.

I also have a deep interest in cognitive and brain sciences, having previously conducted research in the field. I keep up to date with scientific research in psychology and am committed to implementing new methods found to be helpful in therapy.
